Privacy

Privacy & its limits

Plain language about what stays private, what can’t be guaranteed, and how we handle information.

Privacy in a group setting

We ask everyone in class to respect each other's privacy — no photos, screenshots, or recordings, and what's shared in class stays in class. But because class is a group setting, we can't guarantee complete confidentiality. Please share only what you're comfortable with.

What not to share

Please don't share any of these in class, in the Zoom chat, or on our forms:

Home addresses
Birth dates
Case numbers
Medical records
Other sensitive personal information

Personal disclosures are never required

You can take part fully without sharing personal stories. Activities can be completed using general examples.

When staff may disclose information

When required by law.
To respond to a safety concern.
For authorized attendance and completion reporting to the referring court, school, or agency.

Payment privacy

Card details are handled entirely by Square on their secure checkout page and are never stored on this site. We never see your full card number. Square emails your receipt to the address you enter at checkout.
